Sandro Barbini’s body forge was located in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 1962 an Alfa Romeo 2600 in the style of Gran Sport was created there. The body shape corresponded to the Super Sport of the 1930s. The car became known under the name Barbini Special. Berbini also rebuilt an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Turismo from 1930 in 1962. The car was rebuilt in Monza style.
